Few of us are islands. We all need to communicate with someone. Networks allow us to communicate with our co-workers and share information and resources. The web allows us to communicate worldwide. The network is the key means to communications in any office with more than one person. It is the portal to our data, application software, e-mail, the internet, the world.

Today all computers can belong to a network, even IBM mainframes and AS/400’s. You do not have to replace them all to set up a network. But they do need to speak the same ‘language’ and observe manners and protocols.

We have implemented servers that use UNIX, Linux, or Windows NT as the operating systems.
