The Arkansas division of AmTran manufactures diesel train engines. With almost 4 million records in the BOM file and an intricate multi-level manufacturing process, the MPS/MRP process required almost 40 hours. Mr. Martellaro supervised the implementation of modifications to the planning programs of BPCS similar to those that he implemented at Littelfuse. The modifications cut the MPS/MRP planning time by over 65%.
